This is the first tulip I made, a pattern quickly modified from a larger pattern of multiple tulips that I found on line. I like very much how it came out, but felt like the body of the tulip was shorter than it should be. I think of tulips as being a longer flower. So off I went to see what else I could do.

The 2020 United States election on November 3 might just be the most consequential of our lifetime. While there is intense focus on the presidential race, it is also critically important that we consider down ballot races. As an independent artist who is a member of the LGBTQ community and has a disability, much is on the line for me and millions of others. PLEASE VOTE. Vote blue, vote safely, be heard. We all need to show up.
